Head out of the airport on King Shaka Drive towards the N Coast Toll Road (N2). Merge onto the N2 heading north and continue for about 1 hour and 23 minutes. As you approach the turnoff for Bushlands Road, take the D123 turnoff, which will be on your left—do not take the D566, as that is only for authorised vehicles. Once you’ve taken the D123 turnoff, continue on Bushlands Road (D123) for about 6 minutes (approximately 4 km). Bonamanzi Game Reserve will then be on your left.

Head southwest on Jones Road, then take the ramp onto the R21. Follow the R21 for a short distance and then take exit 429A for Rondebult Road/N12. Continue straight and take exit 437 for R23/Bunyan Street. Turn right onto Tom Jones Street, then right again onto Range View Road. Follow this road and merge onto the N17. Stay on the N17 for a while, then turn right onto Murray Street, followed by a left onto Taute Street. Take a right onto Border Street, then turn left onto Voortrekker Street, which will merge into the N2. Stay on the N2 for a long stretch, then take the exit towards R22. Follow R22, passing through a few roundabouts, and continue straight onto P2. Turn left onto Bushlands Road (P2), and Bonamanzi Game Reserve will be on your left after about 290 metres.
